Back to the busyness of life.
Wait who am I kidding? I don't really have a job so how could I ever be busy, right?
But believe me, I'm wondering how I ever accomplished anything while I was still working full time.
It's almost noon & I'm still struggling with finding any motivation to tackle my to-do list, let alone trying to do that at 5 or 6 when I've been a slave to the workforce all day.
(Note: I'm not putting down working ladies)
I'm actually extremely impressed that you have the energy to get everything done, with a smile on your face!
I used to be you, perhaps without the smile sometimes.
But God is completely changing my feelings on this little topic.
People, mainly close people, keep asking me what I actually do all day.
My answer: I sit on my rump all day, (see indent on the couch) watch tv all day, blog/facebook/pinterest/tweet all day, drink coffee all day, do absolutely nothing but stare at the ceiling alll day.
Just kidding.
I have errands to run. Husbands to tend to. GLOW events to plan. Business plans to write. Encouragement to offer. Laundry to do. Cleaning to attempt. Dinner to make (some days, thank heavens for my MIL).
{Of course, I do have an insane amount of coffee all day to accomplish this list.}
I think I could probably go on and on with that list, but I'll spare you.
Life at home is BUSY. and hard.
Just the same as life at work is BUSY. and hard.
So all that to say, I am in a transition. My life is changing. And I'm ok with that.
It's called trust.
Not trust in the man or trust in an employer or even trust in my husband.
It's trust in God.
There are a lot of amazing things happening in my life. in my marriage.
And today on this dreary Monday, when all I want to do is live up to those joke answers of what I do all day & really prove those discouraging people right, I'm going to decide...
it's a good day to have a good day.
Won't you do the same?
------------
And for your viewing pleasure, my hubby just sent me this text.
Add that to my daily to-do!
