Dear Body, you just continue to grow. This series of pictures in the same shirt really proves just how amazing the woman’s body is during pregnancy. Let’s see if I can make it another 6 weeks to get a pic in this shirt again! Dear M, love you so much. You continue to make me laugh every single day. Even, or should I say especially, on days when these hormones are raging wild & I act like a crazed lunatic. We’re almost to the end! Dear House, I can’t help but smile when I think about you. Yep, an inanimate thing & it makes me so giddy! I love everything about you, except the very loud next door neighbor girls who play on our porch & try peeking into our door when I’m laying on the couch with my pregnant belly hanging out. Yea…how’s that for a visual on your Friday morning :) Dear E, we are so close to meeting you. SOCLOSE! But, mama still has lots to get done before you make your grand entrance so I’m ok with you staying nice & cozy in there for awhile longer! Dear Weekend, I’m so glad you’re here! Now if you could move verrrrrrry slowly, I won’t be upset!

Fridays Letters
Dear Hubby, You are rocking this upcoming daddy role! E is such a lucky little lady to have you! I’m excited for you to paint her nursery & make it special for her! I love how much you love her already! Dear Weather, You have been so nice lately & then my weather app says possible snow showers on Monday….what in the world? It’s May in case you got confused. Dear Home, I can’t believe we have already lived in you for 2 weeks! The past year and a half is already feeling like a blimp in time. Slowly you are becoming “ours”…and Emma’s too since she’s got A LOT of stuff already! Dear Bump, You are feeling heavier & larger by the day. You are also causing some pretty sexy cankles & swollen feet. And by sexy I mean hideous. Dear God, I am amazed at your faithfulness. Your timing is so much sweeter than ours. And your plans for our lives will never compare to our measly momentary wants. The Lord truly does give us the desires of our hearts & in 4 weeks I will officially become a stay at home mama. I can’t even type that without tears forming. The journey He has taken us on has been emotional and trying, but in the end He had it all worked out. M’s calling it my retirement & I’m ok with that :)

Friday’s Letters
{15 weeks, 21 weeks, 27 weeks}
Dear Body, You just continue to “amaze” me with your growth. Everyone keeps telling me I’m all belly & if that’s what they see when they look at me, I’ll take it. I , on the other hand, see a whole lot more than just belly. But isn’t that the way it goes? I’m just happy that E is growing healthy in there! Dear Husband, I love you. I am so proud of you & I don’t think I tell you that often enough. I am blessed by how hard your working at getting us on our own again & I know that God is going to bless your faithfulness. Dear God, I will trust YOU. I will trust YOU. I will trust YOU. I am repeating that to myself hourly, sometimes even every minute. Sometimes the valleys just seem so deep & it’s all I can do to let go. BUT I know you are the author & I am a daughter of the king who simply needs to be patient with your timeline. Dear Sunshine, FINALLY! It’s about time you showed your face around these parts again. I was beginning to wonder if you had disappeared forever. Now if you could radiate about 70 degree heat, I wouldn’t be mad about it. Dear E, You have had the hiccups all morning. And when you aren’t hiccupping your giving me some hefty jabs! I love them all, really I do, but could you try avoiding my bladder? Feeling about to tinkle my pants when you kick me there just isn’t much fun! Dear Family, You’ve been in Florida all year..ok so just for this week but the need to tell me its 85 and sunny there isn’t really necessary is it? I mean I’m glad for you, but it doesn’t help that we are just now seeing the sun & you’ve been gone since last Wednesday. Hopefully you bring back real sunshine and warmth instead of just a can that pretends to hold it. Dear Friends, If you didn’t have a chance to worship and hear truth this past Easter, go here. My pastor is more than willing to share with you the powerful good news that God sent His Son for You.
Happy weekend lovelies.

Friday’s Letters
Dear Husband, My heart is overflowing with joy when I see how much you love our E already! When you talk to her & smooch her (my belly) & pray for her…seriously my heart feels like it could burst. I always teased you and said you had a heart of ice, but becoming a daddy is definitely making that joke untrue. Dear Emma, I can’t believe we are only 13 weeks away from meeting you! The kicks and pokes you give me are so reassuring, even if they have been coming in the middle of the night. We’ll have to work on those sleep habits! Dear Spring, you are looking much different than I remember you. Last year we were enjoying 70 degree weather & this year I’m looking at snow out my window. What gives? Have we done something to offend you? You must come soon because all of my winter clothes are just getting way to short! Dear Head, I’d love for you to reattach yourself to my body now. The runny nose, achy eyes, scratchy throat, and overall feeling of disconnect is just about more than I can handle. I think you are rebelling against snow in spring. Dear Class, you were all too sweet when you found out baby girl was going to be Emma. Playtime just got a lot more confusing since you all have baby dolls mysteriously named Emma now! Dear Husband, Thank you for being such a hard worker! I know we are in a weird place right now, but seeing you seek after God and His plan for us, puts my weary heart to rest just a little bit.

Friday’s Letters
Dear Gianna & Lyra, you two are the cutest. Especially when you put on a concert. That dora microphone & pink guitar suit you both well. Look out America, the next best thing is heading your way…in 20 years. Dear Winter, I love you, I really do, but I’m ok with you going away now. I am so ready for warmer weather and retiring my winter jacket. The groundhog said you were done, but the snow/ice storm we just got is proving him wrong. I want to prove him right! Dear Husband, this week of just you & me has been AH-mazing! It makes me so excited for us to be on our own again. We’ll get to be silly & sing loudly! And I can finally get my purses out of storage! Dear Ring Finger, please stop swelling. I want to wear my wedding rings again & with a bump on top of this pregnancy swelling, that’s just not happening. I’m too cheap to pay to get it resized, so instead I feel like I always have to drop the word “husband” when someone says anything about being pregnant. Dear Friends, thanks for all the love over little Emma (& her name)!!

Friday's Letters
Dear Self, you really have a warped idea of “big” don’t you? You seriously thought you were huge at 15 weeks? Pshh, girl. You were tiny. Take a look at yourself when you were 21 weeks! You see that? It’s a belly. And it’s here to stay. It means baby girls is growing! Dear Husband, you are amazing. That is all really. When you smooch my belly and tell our little bit how much you love her, I have to fight back tears! I’m a little nervous about these “air jordan booties” you are pushing me to get, but I’ll probably relent & give in because you’re just so stinkin in love with our little that I can’t tell you no. Dear Butt, I won’t be upset if you stop aching. Really. I promise, there will be no hard feelings. Dear Little Sisters, sorry little miss didn’t feel like sharing her moves with you. I think she likes playing tricks when people try feeling her. I promise she was doing flips right up until you put your hands on my belly. Dear Peanut Butter Fudge, OH MY GARSH. I should have gotten more than a 1/4 pound of you. I think I’ll cry when I finish the last piece. Dear Maternity Leggings, I love you. The end. Dear Work Chair, you hurt. Please see “dear butt”. Dear GLOW/Pearls, I can't wait to watch Annie tonight & have lots of good treats at our Pink Party! You girls bring serious joy to my life! Dear Baby Girl, mama is so excited to meet you! Only 17 weeks left!! Time is flying by & before I know it, I’ll be holding you in my arms & stealing kisses every chance I get!
Happy Friday friends!

Friday’s Letters
Dear Husband: Tonight we are celebrating your birthday with mexican & friends! Wooot! So happy I get to spend this life with you! And I promise I’ll start helping with the puzzle. And by promise I mean it’s a slight, teeny-tiny possibility. Dear Water: Are you seriously my new bff? I feel lost when you’re gone. Dear Clementine's: You make my heart happy & my hands stinky. Dear Baby: You really want us to see your hands! Every time we get to watch you, you’re always waving! You’re already amazing! Dear Waist/Belly: You’re here. Now if you could just blend together nicely I wouldn’t be mad about it.
Dear lock screen: I find myself looking at you all the time. It’s a frequent reminder that I’m not in control of this thing I call life. Dear Lord: I’m already struggling with my word for the year. Help me to completely hand it all over to You. You already know the outcome to our living arrangement's and money woes, all I need to do is trust. Dear Coffee: You’re definitely a mind game. Decaf doesn’t taste any different but it just doesn’t feel the same. 5 more months friend, 5 more months. Dear Blog Friends: Thank you for all the comments, emails, and support since we announced little Baby Edwards! I’m hoping to be back to a bit more of regular posting soon!

Friday.
Dear Today, I am so excited you are here. This week has been long, so long. That’s really all I have people. We had a field trip today & I can barely hold my head up. I need a LARGE coffee if I’m going to last. Like this starbucks one. HINT HINT HUBBY.
Hope your weekends are full of lollipops and gumdrops. And large coffees.

Dear Friday.
Dear Friday, Thanks for showing up! I wasn’t really anxious for you, but who can deny the excitement of what Friday means! Dear Hubby, you texted me from across the room & you used a hashtag. Yea. You’re cool like that. Dear Life, you are rocking my world this week. Seriously. Prayers are answered and God is quickly showing me exactly where I’m meant to be. It’s amazing. Dear Water with Cucumber, I love you. The headaches I get from trading out my iced coffees for you, not so much. Ahh the life of a coffee addict.
Dear Summer, you are flying by! Slow down puh-lease. We are already in August & it may be breaking my heart a little. Dear Friends having/with babies (1, 2, 3, 4, , etc.), you are all fueling my baby mama fever! Following you on facebook & instagram might be the wrong thing to do, but I just can’t stop. Luckily, number 1 lets me love on her little itty-bitty anytime I want to! Dear Hubby, thanks for the new hat. You know me so stinkin well.

Friday’s Letters
Dear Readers, today’s letters might take on a more debbie-downer style. Sorry about that. Life’s just in a debbie-downer phase right now. I’ll try to throw in the positives! Dear Husband, thank you for smiling. Seriously. Your smile can completely change my mood & yesterday, that smile saved me from countless tears. Dear Car, you made me very sad. Why did you have to just go and break on me? It’s not right & not nice. You’re teaching me patience. Or is that the Lord? Dear Husband’s Car, I’d appreciate if you put some lifts on. I’m not used to ducking myself into a sedan & I have the welt (& headache) to prove it. Since I’ll probably be driving you rather frequently over the next week, please be nice to my forehead. Dear G-Bug, I’m crazy happy that you’re surgery went well. I’d be lost without your sweet smile & I’m in love with your new voice!
Dear ER Bill #2, where in the world did you come from? I was just bragging how affordable bill #1 was & then you show up. On the day my car, that I still owe mega money on, dies no less. Dear Husband, please remember your needle-nose pliers when you fish. Enough said. Dear Kristan, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sneak-peak of our photo-shoot! You are amazing & incredibly talented. I couldn’t ask for a better friend that owns a photography business. And I’m uber excited to start working with you!
Dear Yellow Nail Polish, I thought you would be amazing, but you are runny & you’re chipping real fast. You keep this up & you won’t last long. Dear Weather, I love you. You have been hot & beautiful. Even the little bit of rain you dropped yesterday didn’t bother me. It’s summer & you are delivering. Dear God, You are teaching me endless lessons lately. As much as I try to avoid them. Thank you for your unfailing love. Dear SheReadsTruth, you are smacking me in the face. I fell behind on the last plan & in my grumpy state last night tried catching up. And the day I had to start on was, well let’s just say, there was a reason I was forced to read you. Truth overflowed from the verse. These hiccups in my life may seem giant & unchangeable, but I’m not in control of my life. And I don’t get to write the pages of my story. It’s already been written. I just have to seek Him to find my next step. Dear Kahlan. you are beautiful & amazing & innocent & precious & I’m already in love with you. I told your mama that your big sis has me wrapped around her finger & I’m pretty sure you already do too. Can’t wait to watch you grow into a GLOW girl!

Friday’s Letters
Dear Legs, ouch. After a week off, you have definitely shown me why vacations from the gym aren’t such a great thing. I won’t be doing that again. Please don’t make me look silly when I walk up & down the stairs today! Dear Apple Crisp Bars, see previous letter. YOU have been a thorn in my side this week. Sitting on the counter. Taunting me. Basically screaming…EAT me. Not cool, full of sugar & fat bars. It’s possible I’m throwing you away today. So to the people that live in this house, eat them fast or their going to the dump. Dear Husband, you skipped out on the gym again this week. Shame on you. Next week you’ll be feeling the pain though, so that will be fun. For me. Not you. Dear Lauren, I love love love my headband! Although I feel my head is funky shaped & I haven’t mastered how to actually wear it, I’m so excited to figure it out & rock the bright yellow flower!
Dear Spending Freeze, we survived one week. Almost. I’ve avoided all forms of stores, besides stuffmart & I feel pretty good. Except for the minor heart palpitations I may have had when my friend told me she has Kohl’s coupons that total 35% off for next weekend. Yea, I had to practice deep breathing during that conversation. Dear Birthday, you’re coming quick, like 10 days quick & I don’t know how I feel about it. Time to buck up & trust God with this thing called life. Dear Soul Detox, you have been an amazing eye opener this week. My heart is full with God’s word and truth. And conviction. I’m full of toxicity & it’s time I got control over it & gave it the boot. Instead, I want to replace it with God’s grace. The #shereadstruth community has been pretty stellar too.

Friday’s Letters
Dear Self, remember that statement. Things aren’t always what they seem & it’s the best (& sometimes the hardest) option to choose the half full outlook. Dear Husband, you decided to skip the gym this morning & you were super close to convincing me to crawl back in bed at 6 am too. But I didn’t. And for your laziness, I licked every single Oreo that I packed you for lunch. Enjoy. Dear June, welcome! You’re my birthday month & I’m a wee bit nervous about turning 25. I definitely had a house & a baby on the to-do list before this monumental birthday & those are pretty far off in the future. So it could get a little emotional round these parts. Dear Rushelle, I’m dying at the email you sent me! That design is totally more than I could have imagined. Best blog turned real friend ever. Dear Rain, go away. I want the sunny, sticky, sweaty, hot days back please. Dear Buffalo, Tree & I are coming for you today. With 2 small children. Be warned. Or maybe it’s us that should be warned. We’ll be the ragged, rain drenched women lugging 2 kids around. Look out.
Dear GLOW girls, I can’t even tell you how pumped I am to spend my summer with you! We are going to own this town with all the light we’ll be spreading. And the sleepover…it’s going to be epic. Dear Husband, I feel like I want to force you to chug all of the sparkling water that’s in your trunk. For no other reason than to giggle uncontrollably. Dear July 16th, come kind of fast so I can meet little miss Kahlan. And have a glass of wine with your mommy!
Have a great weekend friends!

Friday’s Letters
Dear Friday, wow. Let me just say, this week has been busy & I don’t really see an end in sight for awhile. But loving it all none the less. Dear Husband, you rock. Enough said. Dear 6 am workouts, you and I are becoming quite the friends aren’t we? It’s making me (& my thighs) happy. Dear Blog Friends, Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Clearly I like to disappear for a whole week with no explanation. I’ve always told myself I’ll write when I want, not when I feel forced to. With that said, you can expect a post about my life lately including stinky shoes next week. Yes, you’re welcome in advance.

Dear Grace, I’ve had lots of fun playing with you these past 2 days, but you aren’t helping this slight baby fever I’ve had lately. This goes for you too Gabe.

Dear Uterus, stop having these feelings. Otherwise I might drive my hubby cray-cray. Dear weather, I think we already had this conversation last Friday’s Letter…what’s the deal? Dear Believer’s Chapel friends, church this Sunday is going to be amazing. It’s about being desperate. 9 & 11. Be there or be square. Ok you won’t be square, I don’t even know what that means actually. Dear Toms, why did you rip? I just got you but you thought it was necessary to rip. Makes me sad, but I’ll still be wearing you. Dear Sponsor Swaps, I’ll be changing things up next month, look for an email. And by next month I really mean next month. Time to get organized and motivated.

Friday’s Letters
Dear Husband, you’re my best friend, k? Just because I spend lots of time with my non-husband bestie doesn’t mean you aren’t right there at the top of my list! And thanks for going to work everyday so we can be in our own again!! Dear weather, make up your mind already. Stop randomly snowing & just get warm please. Dear Friday, I LOVE you. Now please don’t end. Dear Choco-Mint Nail Polish, I’m going to put you back on my nails & I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t chip off for at least 2 weeks. Dear laundry, why can’t you wash, dry, fold, & put yourself away? Dear thighs, we have gotta start working you out.
Dear to-do list, stop multiplying! Dear GLOW girls, you’re all my favorites! Can’t wait for our next meeting, it’s all about your pearls & we have cute little gifts for you! Dear hair, I’m really trying to grow you out so let’s be cooperative during the awkward stages please! I’m mainly talking to you bangs.
