Spring Fling Time

You may remember the Find Some Love Fest that I did with some good bloggy friends of mine? And you might remember what a raging success it was?

Well you’re welcome.

Because the amazing-ness that is Allison had the bright idea to do it again!!!

For Spring!

Recipe: Kiss Pies

In keeping with the Find Some Love Fest party happening right now, I thought I’d share this pretty easy recipe with you.

Me & the littlest little had fun playing with the pie crust & eating more kisses than we should have!

Ingredients:

2 refrigerated pie crusts

flour

a bag of your favorite Hershey Kisses (I used mint & regular)

Saran Wrap

Sugar

Powdered Sugar

Unwrap your kisses.

The little ones will love this part!

Unroll your pie crust onto a piece of saran wrap. (this helps it not stick)

Keep unrolling!

Place the kisses around the outside of the pie crust.

Cut a circle around the kisses. The circle does not have to be perfect. And you don’t have to use a fancy cookie cutter, I ended up using a knife on the second batch because I could make the circle a little smaller.

Continue until all the pie crust is used up. You can re-roll it too!

Fold 1/2 of dough over kiss. Then squish in the sides.

Bring the center to some sort of point. Pinch all the seams together.

Brush a little egg wash on the top & then sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 350 for about 20-28 minutes. They are done when the outsides are golden brown.

Remove & cool for 5 minutes before transferring from the pan.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar & enjoy!

It's time for Find Some Love Fest!

It’s finally here! The Find Some Love Fest link-up partaaaaay!

And because I kind of have a thing for signs/bunting type things, here is a little one I put together.

Of course I used my Cricut to cut everything out! And here’s the best part, this project was completely 100% FREE!! Don’t ya love crafts like that?

I used twine that I already had, scrapbook paper that I already had, and then I was the sneaky chick at Wal-Mart pretending to pick out a paint color but really I was taking a massive amount of paint sample cards!

Then I used my little shape cutter to cut out hearts. Cut out the phrase I Love You. Then you just tie them on the twine.

That simple. & that easy.

I can’t wait to hang this on our mirror so when the hubs wakes up Feb. 14th he’ll be all “awww your such an amazing wife!”
