Suckers & Hearts

If you’re new around here, let me fill you in on a little bit of information! I taught 1st grade last year at a very tiny school. Unfortunately, I was let go at the end of last school year. It was tough & frustrating but there’s a reason for everything, right?

Anyways, I’m not here to share all the ooey-gooey details of that saga. Instead I want to show you the little gift I gave my firsties for Valentine’s Day!!

It’s pretty simple.
You need: Construction paper, lollipops, staples, glue, & computer/printer.

Print out your saying & your name
Cut out hearts in 3 different colors.
Overlap them & staple together.
Punch a hole right in the center.
Glue your saying & name.
Stick the lollipop through the hole.

Easy, peasy, lemon-squeezy!

{Note-these were made last year prior to my real crafting-aha moment & pre-cricut days, so they do look a little rough. Of course, they are for 6 yr olds, so they don’t need to be perfect. Or even pretty, They really only care about the sucker.}

Have any amazingly simple Valentine’s Gifts that you can give kiddos?

Go link them up here:
