I love that Thanksgiving is a day to thank God for all of His amazing blessings! I love the feeling of being surrounded by family and friends, the smell of a turkey cooking in the oven, and oh that delicious pumpkin pie!

My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is the unbridled love that is abundantly expressed in our family. Each Thanksgiving we play some rendition of the "I am thankful" game and it always comes around to being thankful for each other. We have a new tradition of sitting around a campfire and roasting s'mores late on Thanksgiving night. I'm definitely looking forward to that!

I first started blogging when I was 14. I have owned domains in the past but seemed to stop when I was 20 to focus on career goals of mine. After getting married on Sept 18, 2010 I started a blog to first keep in touch with family and friends back home. It has since become a blog still about marriage, but also about military life, trying to conceive, my previous miscarriages, freeze ahead meals, DIY home decorating, etc. I absolutely love my blog, as it is a place for me to rant, rave, and share in the joys of being married. God has given me a wonderful man, and I am honored to be able to share in our splendid marriage with my readers.
