Dear Self, remember that statement. Things aren’t always what they seem & it’s the best (& sometimes the hardest) option to choose the half full outlook. Dear Husband, you decided to skip the gym this morning & you were super close to convincing me to crawl back in bed at 6 am too. But I didn’t. And for your laziness, I licked every single Oreo that I packed you for lunch. Enjoy. Dear June, welcome! You’re my birthday month & I’m a wee bit nervous about turning 25. I definitely had a house & a baby on the to-do list before this monumental birthday & those are pretty far off in the future. So it could get a little emotional round these parts. Dear Rushelle, I’m dying at the email you sent me! That design is totally more than I could have imagined. Best blog turned real friend ever. Dear Rain, go away. I want the sunny, sticky, sweaty, hot days back please. Dear Buffalo, Tree & I are coming for you today. With 2 small children. Be warned. Or maybe it’s us that should be warned. We’ll be the ragged, rain drenched women lugging 2 kids around. Look out.
Dear GLOW girls, I can’t even tell you how pumped I am to spend my summer with you! We are going to own this town with all the light we’ll be spreading. And the sleepover…it’s going to be epic. Dear Husband, I feel like I want to force you to chug all of the sparkling water that’s in your trunk. For no other reason than to giggle uncontrollably. Dear July 16th, come kind of fast so I can meet little miss Kahlan. And have a glass of wine with your mommy!
